By Summer Delashaw is the culmination of all of the fine art & creative things that I love — I create meaningful works of art and capture memorable moments through original art, photography, and commissioned projects all in effort to inspire beauty, light & purpose.

& here is me! My name is Summer Faith Delashaw (just got married!) I am 23 years old and graduated in 2023 with a BA Studio Art degree from Baylor University. I am a Texas girl who loves all things sunshine, fashion, coffee, horses, sunsets, health and people. I am passionate about not letting the little things in life pass by, and cherishing the faces placed in front of me. For as long as I can remember, I have been an artist. I was the kid in first grade who everyone asked to draw their favorite animal on their worksheet and came home after school and all I wanted to do was draw ‘fashion girls’ with my mom. One night in high school. I was up late working on a western art piece for a rodeo contest entry and I remember hearing you were created for this, undoubtedly a word from the maker of heaven and earth, and wondered why I would ever do anything else. I remember feeling alive and full of purpose — and here we are. It is a privilege to get to steward the gift of creativity, using my hands, eyes, heart and a few materials in the process. My dream is to create not just another pretty picture on the wall, but to create a variety of beautiful work that holds meaning and brings joy.
